Aside from the core work, developed and managed various projects both in Latvia and foreign countries, consulted local governments in Latvia, as well as nongovernmental organizations and commercial companies about the European Union-funded projects.

Bachelor's degree in public relations (VA), a master's degree in business management and innovation (RTU, MBA). Lectures, manages and reviews bachelor's and master's thesis at Vidzeme University and Riga Technical University program ”Innovation and Entrepreneurship". Co-author of the book "Compass. A guide for adult educators ".

Was scholarship holder of the United States and Canada governments.  In 2003 won the individual grant of UNESCO Fellowship Bank Programme from 2002 to 2003 to carry out the research work of the European Association of Adult Education in Brussels. Member and lecturer in many international conferences and seminars.
