Ivars Rungis

Experience:
Manager of JSC "Citadele Bank" process and project management department. Prior to that, worked as a director in project management and IT department of the Riga municipal enterprise that provides transport infrastructure construction and project management. 13 years worked in the financial sector, from which in the last 7 years has been involved in IT project management in organizations and transnational level. Excellent project management experience accumulated by working as a project and program manager of JSC Hansabank Group.

Consultant and trainer at SIA Komercizglītības centrs. Provides consultations for companies and runs seminars in the field of project management using effective teaching methodology  developed by Swedish company CELEMI AB - Project Management simulation CAYENNE^TM.

Education:
Master's degree in Kiev National University of Construction and Architecture (Ukraine) study "Project and program manager." Bachelor's degree in organizational psychology (RPIVA). Obtained the first-level higher professional education in banking at BA School of Business and Finance.
Certified Senior Project Manager (IPMA B, C and D levels). Certified consultant of project management simulation CAYENNE^TM (Celemi, Sweden).

Membership in associations / societies:
Member of the Board at Latvian National Project Management Association (LNPMA).

Trainer about himself:
I am constantly expanding my knowledge of current events in project management and am seeking to promote the project management science in Latvian business. Teaching courses and consultancies on project management issues is one of those things, which allow sharing knowledge and experience with many stakeholders. It provides great satisfaction and incentive to learn and to broaden knowledge even further.
