Contents and duration of the program
„Business Class” is the first program in Latvia developed by business practitioners to improve the professional skills of managers. More than 500 managers have graduated this program to date. The 180 hours training program is practical and intensive. Managers study in small groups, acquiring critical skills over 5 months’ period. The program consists of 3 parts with a total of 14 modules:

Teaching methods and Training materials
The program is based on interactive teaching methods for adults – individual tasks, work in groups, case analyses, discussions, role-plays, video training, and work with projects.
Emphasis is on active involvement of participants, exchange of experience and viewpoints, and active application of knowledge gained by the participants.
Participants of the program receive study materials for each module, including participants’ workbook, relevant exercises and activities, as well as a list of related books, magazines, and web-sites.

While the study program is suitable for any manager, it is especially appropriate for:
- Managers with basic experience, but without higher business education;
- Managers desiring to improve their business knowledge and managerial skills quickly and effectively.

Ensuring the effectiveness of training
Each participant is interviewed by the program manager about his current experience, knowledge, personal goals, and expectations, prior to the start of training,
The acquired knowledge or skills are tested at the conclusion of each module through the use of quizzes, role-plays, or presentations of individual tasks or group projects.
In addition, each participant creates his or her own development plan, summarizing the key learning points, defining the application to management tasks in the workplace, and identifying targets for follow-up after training.
Training fee is LVL 2600 + VAT or LVL 130 + VAT per training day.

The trainers-consultants of Komercizglītības Centrs who have considerable business experience as well as academic education lead training modules. Regular feedback between the trainers and participants ensures an efficient study process.
